2009 Tune-Up Track & Field Meet

Knowles Center, University of Wisconsin – River Falls

 

Date: February 22, 2009

Time: Sunday – 5:00-8:00 pm.

 

Registration:  Register in person beginning at 3:45 pm or send registration ahead of time to Chris Dallager, 990 Ticonderoga Trail, Eagan, MN 55123.

Entry: $15 per athlete ($10 for 2009 USATF members). Entry form available below or at the meet. Exact amounts are appreciated at registration. Checks can be made payable to “USATF Minnesota.” Athletes may register to become members of USATF at registration. 2009 USATF registration is $20 for youth and $30 for adults. Registration for USATF membership can be completed online with a credit card at https://www.usatf.org/membership/application/.

Facility: New 200 meter Mondo track and field event surface.  Long/Triple (Boards) and High Jump allow for ¼ inch pyramid spikes.

Spikes: ¼ inch pyramids allowed.

Timing: Hand timing. The meet will not be scored.

Events: Athletes may enter as many events as are being offered but event start times will not be delayed and field event athletes need to complete jumps according to event official instructions.

Jumps: Long and Triple- 4 Jumps total. High Jump will follow usual rules.

Volunteers: More volunteers are needed to help with the meet. Shot Put and Pole Vault may be added if more volunteers offer to help with the meet. Contact Chris Dallager, meet director, if you can help.
