Track & Field

USATF Minnesota conducts championships for all age groups (youth through masters) in both indoor and outdoor track and field. Awards are provided to the top individuals in all age groups (open, two-year age groups for youth, and five-year age groups for masters). Youth qualify at the outdoor track and field championship for Junior Olympic Regional Championships, from which they may qualify for National Championships.

USATF Minnesota also sponsors a series of summer league meets aimed at providing competitive opportunities for post-collegiate athletes. Participation is limited to members of USATF-registered clubs or collegiate athletes.

Sunday, March 8 - USATF Minnesota JO/Open/Masters Indoor Track & Field Championships, University of Minnesota Fieldhouse, Minneapolis.

Sunday, June 7 - USATF Minnesota Open & Masters Outdoor Track & Field Championships, Hamline University, St. Paul.

Saturday/Sunday, June 20/21 - USATF Minnesota Junior Olympic Outdoor Championships.

Tuesday/Sunday, July 7-12 - 2009 USA Masters Outdoor Track & Field Championships, University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh, Oshkosh, Wisconsin.

Thursday-Sunday, July 9-12 -  USATF Region VIII Junior Olympic Outdoor Championships, Nebraska.

Sunday, July 19 - Midwest Region Masters Track & Field Championships, Carroll University, Waukesha, Wisconsin.

Tuesday-Sunday, July 22-27 - USATF National Junior Olympic Outdoor Championships, Nebraska.
